Public transportation is woven into the fabric of Berlin. Most people who live here don't have cars, and I have never once felt like I needed one. Once you get the public transport down, the entire city is at your fingertips. 

Berlin is home to many amazing museums. One of my favorites was futurium, a free museum that explores technological developments and imagines what they might be developed into in the future. 

Berlin also has many amazing flea markets. Mauer Park hosts the biggest flea market. Open on Sundays, you can find absolutely anything from vintage clothing, delicious food, old tools, war memorabilia, and many other wonderful knick knacks.
